What a great Meet Up we just had! Sorry, if you missed it, but we all had a great time stitching our adorable hostess aprons!
With a total of four Meetups under our belt, our group just keeps getting bigger and our Meetups just keep getting better! For this one, we stayed local and sewed together at the M Avery Designs Studio/Boutique and snacked on munchkins from DD.
Take a look at the photos from the process, as well as some of the finished aprons! Every single one came out amazing and members were proudly wearing their new cute aprons out the door when they left!

Fashion Lab Sewing Meet Up Group - March Meet Up
Meet up just ended and I thought it went so great! We had less people than expected but that allowed us to all use the sewing machines and actually complete a little project. We all made little patchwork stuffed birds. So adorable. I took some photos and ate way to many sweets. Can't wait for the April meet up when we are going to take the group to NYC for some fabric shopping. Tentative date of 4/25/09 is set, but will confirm that very shortly!

Fashion Lab Sewing Meet Up Group - First Meet Up Wed. 2/1//09 - Be there!

I meet so many awesome people everyday that LOVE sewing! I just started a FREE group for people that just love to make stuff!
Our Wed. February 11th, 2009 meeting will be the very first Fashion Lab Sewing Group meeting! We'll discuss what the group is going to be all about and some of the things we are going to do in the group.Meeting starts at 7pm!
If you'd like bring your ideas for making this group super fun! You can also bring along cool stuff you have stitched on your sewing machine.
You are more than welcome to come even if you haven't sewn before, but it's something you would like to learn how to do!
