Our First Silkscreen Workshop

We recently had our first Intro to Silkscreening Workshop at the studio. (In fact, it was our very last workshop at our 7th & Willow location.)


What a great end to being in that space. Nicole Poko is a talented silkscreener, as well as a fantastic teacher. 


I was fortunate enough to be a student in the class and had so much fun learning the techniques of creating my own screens, as well as using the fun colored inks to silkscreen fabric & clothing.


Nicole had brought along three really cool unique screen designs and we were all able to take turns trying the different screens in layers on our practice paper and fabric. 
People how had brought along t-shirts, onesies or totes had the opportunity to screen their items, once they got the hang of it.

We had so much fun, Nicole will be offering the class again on Saturday April 28th from 12-2pm.
